It's early morning before I head to the studio and I've been up for a while and I'm enjoying my quiet time right now. December has been wonderful, yet very exhausting where I was sick for a good three weeks, going back and forth to my future in-laws' place and mine, and balancing to see my friends and family.
BUT the new year is coming, and I will change a few things in my business. I've been saying this for a while and keep creating new projects and things, but only one real goal is to elevate my business.
LOCATION FREEDOM
This blog will be about the progress of what I'm going through in my business and how I'm changing a few things. I realize that I never documented my journey from the start of this current business, but I'm ready to tackle the new year with my new idea and learn to expand my business outside of Vancouver.
I've already created a roadmap on how I'm going to start this process, and I'm giving myself a year to push this idea out. Last year was a roller coaster for me because there were a lot of personal things that I was not happy about the business and it was effecting me mentally. I would go in and out of my business too many times and I just slowly stepped back. And by the end of my year, I ended up not promoting my business anymore, I stopped going onto my social media to create and started scrolling on TikTok like a madman, and stopped email marketing.
Nothing seemed great mentally.
I'm finally accepting the fact that those personal things are a part of the business and it's not always smooth sailing, but I can't let it bring me down.
I can't give up on this new idea, I still love what I do and I'm going to make this happen.
